It’s party time! I finished my latest WiP just in time to celebrate the release of Accidentally Demonic on February 2, 2010! I need cocktails served by scantily clad Chippendale dancers…or the next best thing…a party that doesn’t require anyone to drag out the “dry clean only dresses” and Spanx, and no one has to clean up the empties or refresh the dip dishes!
Oh, and did I mention there’s a contest, too?
So here’s how this is gonna work.
To enter the contest, you have to visit the Bitten by Books site and add your comment to the event post after the event starts.
However…..There’s a bonus method to get EXTRA entries for your shot to win.
Pop by early and RSVP to the Bitten by Books site before noon Central time on January 25th – if you leave a comment with an RSVP, you’ll get 25 EXTRA entries to the contest.
Like I said, though, if you can’t make it until later, that’s okay; you can still enter for a shot to win some major stuff if you drop in after the fun begins! (But before the contest ends – the “Fine Print People” made me add that bit.)

Dearest dakota, I’m writing you this one from like the other side of the world: Italy is the place. Just wish to thank you for your beautiful blog. I’m Italian and love English books. A few days back I just came across your Accidentally Demonic novel while taking a look round at a local bookstore. I browsed through its pages and thought I liked your writing style. Gonna be a huge fan of yours in no time at all. I bought the book and when I got back home I googled you and started going over your blog. Your blog reads sorta like a novel. I love the way you write. Your English is for real and you’re a great one for helping people understand the kinda assholes most men are. You’re perfectly right (I know that all too well, being myself a man). Ever thought we’re very nearly all of us just that (except yours truly, of course, being myself dead). Been dead for a couple of years now, as a consequence of a little something that happened to me on a February afternoon two years back. You’re about feeling things, and that I do appreciate. I feel you the same way one feels the sea waves when they’re plashing on the shore. Bet you’ll be giving me a great reading time and just wanna thank you for that. I’d just love it if you could email me back.
