Have you bought a Mark Henry book today?
People–OMG–if you haven’t, you MUST.
No, I’m not kidding–you MUST.
Mark’s zombie series is some of the funniest shit I’ve ever read, and you all know it takes a lot to make me laugh, right?
When I first met Mark at RT we kinda clicked–okay, we really clicked, but I still wasn’t sure I’d like his book because well, again, it’s hard to make me laugh in my reading material. I may snicker–my lip might cock upward, but full on, ROFLMAO isn’t something I do often.
Mark, along with some very esteemed authors joined those ranks after I read happy Hour of the Damned. I almost wet myself, and it wasn’t because I’m incontinent. He’s so funny, bold, brash and, naughty, I was left gasping for breath. He’s like a of a fashion savvy Christopher Moore. Yes, he’s that funny.
Not just that–he’s a great guy, too. He’s as hilarious and snarky in person, but he’s also a smooshy, cuddly teddy bear of awesomeness. Anyone who’s met Mark can tell you that.
And Mark’s been on a campaign to save Amanda Feral–the heroine and lead snarkstress in his series. I’m like head cheerleader in the fight to save her (Mark said I could have pom-poms and a cute skirt) because I adore this series.
So today, his book Happy Hour of the Damned is being rereleased in mass market paperback, and my hope is that he’ll end up the superstar he should’ve been the first time he came out in trade.
So save a fashion forward, brain eating chick, would ya, and pick up a copy! If you like hardcore humor–Amanda’s the girl for you!

Ok, I have been putting it off, I have never read a zombie book before, but I am going to get it. I have read several interviews with Mark and I know he is histerical!! Do you think he would interview with me?
By the way, I just got Accidental Werewolf in the mail today (I am mad at Amazon too but they are quick). The cover is very cool. I like the embossing.
I am going to try to review it before your interview next week. For sure by the end of the month so I can count it for LE’s mini challenge.

Mark Henry’s work is hilarious! I put off reading his book (even though all my friends were telling me to bite the bullet and get on with it).
I am squeamish when it comes to zombies. They scare me. Seriously.
I was new to Bitten by Books. Mark Henry was the author in question. I loved the interview and decided I would be brave and introduce myself to Amanda Feral…finally. Lucky me, my comment won me two Amanda Feral books. The second book, and an arc of the third when it was ready. I then brought the first book for my Sony Ereader so I could start the series from the very beginning.
Now, the paperbacks on my bookshelf look lonely without book number one. Well, they do today. But one day soon, a little box from amazon will bring me my order - Happy Hour of the Damned! Yeay. Save Amanda Feral. I can’t do mini skirts, I might allure a zombie looking for a big, tasty treat! But I’ll wave pom poms in the air and scream like a looney tune.
Mark Henry’s Amanda books got me over my zombie fear… in books. I still can’t watch the likes of Resident Evil though. *shudder*

Happy Hour Of The Damned is soon to be in mine own hands and since saw that maybe if people do not get busy and support Mark poor Amanda Feral may be no more have decided that books 2&3 shall soon join in on the party! (DH getting Bk 2 for Valentines for me, is that not so sweet)
Now when get the go ahead from Daddy Warbucks (my DH) have to get out and buy a set of Dakota Cassidy books don’t I?

OK…so today I stop on the way home from work, thinking I’d kill 2 birds with one stone (I am an efficient chickie, no?) and pick up not just my friend Dakota’s ACCIDENTLY DEMONIC, but also my other friend, Mark Henry’s Mass Market HAPPY HOUR release at Borders. THE EVIL FUCKTARDS did not have their shipment yet!!!!!! WTF? SO tomorrow, after work, I must stop at the other EVIL EMPIRE in town (B&N) and they better damn well have both those books or heads will roll in this city!

I had been waiting for the 3rd book to come out(preordered it) before I got the series. Well, today was the day. I love listening to his vlogs at BBB. He must be a hilarious guy to be around. I love paranormal books that make you laugh( yours definitely included too) and wanted to make sure that this series does not die an early death.

I have ordered the two books in print and pre-ordered the third. Always looking for new and interesting authors. That is how I found you!. Love the new book. Picked it up at B&N yesterday and read it last nite (ignorning everthing else in the house sorry honey!)
I already had the book in my tbr pile so I sorted through that and dusted it off and I will start on it at lunch today. Darn work interferes with my reading. I’ll let you know what I think lol.

I picked up a copy…at B&N #2319!
Well, I tried to buy Happy Hour at Borders, but they didn’t have it. So, I picked up Accidental Werewolf instead. I decided to start from the beginning of the series. I want to note Nicole’s madness did not influence me.
However, I did get Happy Hour via Amazon tonight. So, 2 great books in one day.
I ordered my copy from The Book Depository. It even had a 10% discount!

Okay, so my mid-life crisis is in full swing now. Your accidental series was just what I needed to get away from reality for a while–I just got Accidently Demonic. I can’t wait to read it.
Anyway, for the past month or so, I have started listening to country music as well–also, I believe, a manifestation of the mid-life crisis–my children have become concerned. Distractions are what keep me going. It seems from the above kudos that once I am done with AD, a Mark Henry book would be in order so I just picked it up from Amazon. I am trusting you. My frame of mind is quite delicate…be gentle now…
